Not sure if this comes under the Hockey umbrella, but in the first break of the Fife game this young figure skater produced an excellent performance! It is the first time in years I have seen the majority of people stop taking and watch the skater, and the first time I have seen people give the skater a standing ovation at the end , he may be one to look out for in British Figure Skating.

Always stay to watch the skaters before headin out to get a drink etc.. Gotta say this lad was easily the best I've seen out of many

I must say, I thought both the skaters were very good last night. Josh Brown certainly deserved the standing ovation he got from many of the audience. Well done both of the skaters...look forward to seeing you both in the future. Good luck in future competitions.

The girl Maxine Yu recently won a gold medal at the British Figure Skating championshiop at Sheffield and has also won gold at the Scottish and Welsh championship. I just think she chose a slower routine last night, they were both excellent skaters.

I thought they were both amazing, definatly ones to watch out for in the coming years.
On a side note I was really disappointed to hear a comment made by someone sat behind me when the young girl was finishing her performance -"I'll have a number 34 and rice"
TBH couldnt beleive what I was hearing they they made another similar comment very very poor on their behalf and they should be ashamed of themselves

There were lots of Tweets about Josh whilst the zamboni took it's turn. Never seen that happen before.

I think all the skaters do really well to skate on an ice surface which has just had 20 minutes of hockey played on it !!!
