Just reading through a thread on Steeltalk about ownership of Steelers, and the following declaration was made .... Student_84 wrote:
This thread got me thinking and after having a look at the IPO, the Panther's haven't trademarked their name. Also just seen on companies house this: NOTTINGHAM PANTHERS LIMITED Status: Dissolved 25/01/2011 Date of Incorporation: 29/08/1997
... also noticed some months ago that "Nottingham Panthers" disappeared from the top of the OS (was left of the Panthers logo).
Anyone know what is occurring here?

Season Tickets have been paid to Aladdin Management Limited for as long as I can remember and if I remember right (I had a look when reading that Steelbleat thread) the words Nottingham Panthers in relation to just about anything have been IP registered by Aladdin Management Limited.
So Nottingham Panthers Limited being Dissolved is probably just housekeeping.
Plus it still says 'The official website of the Nottingham Panthers' on the homepage.

the big issue that Steelers have, is their name is TM'd by Pittsburgh in the NFL and Various managment's have either leased the name or bought the UK rights. (sales being made to either save money or buy some credibility)

The payment for our ST's went on May 20, and the payments didn't go to Aladdin. It says Nottingham Panthers on my CC statement.

Interesting, cause it says make cheques payable to Aladdin Management Limited I don't think what gets written on your CC statement has to be the company name or anything, it's just a reference. Nottingham Panthers would make more sense to you than Aladdin Management when you checked the statement.

"The Official Website of the Nottingham Panthers" is displayed when the site is viewed on all of the various browser I use (including the Dolphin HD browser I'm replying to this thread through).

It's a flash compatibility issue on IE only. shows on chrome and firefox. I would suggest updating flash on IE, getting the latest IE or migrating to a better safer browser
