Now the decision has been made, it appears that the England bid was knocked out in the first round of voting. It is being reported that they only received 2 votes. Now if that's not co**pt, I don't know what is, maybe the BBC were right on the Panorama programme.
The next two World cups awarded to two oil rich nations.
The secret voting was a great success, it was reported that is was on a twitter site that Russia had won before it was announced and then the winners were awarded a certificate with their name on in about a minute after. Not in a sealed envelope but a woman walking on stage with the name clear for everyone to see.
Never mind, we can always bid for the 2030 world cup. Some of the voters may not be around to deny us then, but I doubt it.
Zurich the city of the secret bank accounts.!

Some very odd voting patterns certainly, not from an England perspective either. Holland & Belgium manage to lose 2 votes between round 1 and 2, and in the 2022 vote it was even more prevalent. Makes you wonder what was going on. Surely the 22 are supposed to pick who they think'll be best, and stick with it til the end of the voting?

What made it worse was that Sepp in his speech before announcing the winner, kept refering to us as the mother land of football and to only get 2 votes stinks to me. Somethings wrong. I am waiting for Holloway to whack out his "it's wrong" rant
