Looking at the bigger picture 5/6 points from Guildford is good, just frustrating that we led 4 times in the game and ended up losing.
Pleased that Carozza is continuing his scoring form and glad that Domingue has managed to grab one, hopefully he can find some form as well.

Making a good go of it judging from Twitter, Tetlow’s had a fight with Bolton as well.

My major concern with Tousi is and remains the fact the his play style tends to result in goals ... for the opposition. His defensive 'responsibilty' is open to question to me. When he's on the ice there's always a good chance we're going to get scored on, whatever line he's been on. Which is why he's hovered at the bottom of our plus/minutes ratings all season. Not necessarily a problem if he's scoring but a major issue when he's not. At -14 he's got a worse plus minutes then kelsall (-10) who you'd expect to get scored on given the role he's playing. With 10 League goals but a -14 rating he's 'expensive' for his points Agreed. Have a look at this as an example. He may have been at the end of his shift, to be fair, but he just coasts back into the zone, doesn't pick anyone up when he eventually gets there, and Fife are effectively playing 5 on 3. Poor defensive cover from him and Baillargeon imo.

4 losses in a row for Sheffield, that’s a shame isn’t it.

I thought Tousignant started the season well, he was scoring a lot more than I expected. He’s really dropped off though, no goal in how many games? Even with Hedberg’s remarkable run of 0+1 in 19GP I’d still rather Tousignant sat out when everyone is fit. Tousi's last goal was 15th Jan, game 23. Since that game, 19GP, 0+1. You wait for ages for stats like that, then two come... Ouch, not good.

How many pens has Tousignant drawn where Panthers scored on the resulting PP. More than Hedbergs shocking 0+ 1 I’d hazard a guess. That’s a good point, he did draw a penalty against Storm last Sunday and we scored the game winner on the resulting powerplay. I feel like Tousi’s lack of speed really hinders us at times, if he could rediscover his form from the start of the season then he starts over Hedberg.

Cardiff haven't sold their entire allocation, they've put a post on Facebook reminding fans of the deadline date for booking them. A deadline date to put pressure on them to buy. The Devils fans should hold firm, those seats aren’t going to be sold to anybody else.

For those 12 games Whsitle has been behind the bench, the top scorer is Carozza, with 13 points, including 12 in his last 8 games, 7 in his last 3. Boivin has 12, Welsh 11, Baillargeon 10. Tousignant has 1 point in those 12 games. I thought Tousignant started the season well, he was scoring a lot more than I expected. He’s really dropped off though, no goal in how many games? Hat-trick Carozza!!!! What a finish to win it in OT. He’s on fire at the minute. Great comeback win! Yes, since late Feb he's started to give us a glimpse of what might have been. Getting better and better. And looks like he might even be our *first* player to average a point per game shortly I’m pleased he’s firing, hopefully he can continue this form.

Good win, good comeback. I don't want to hear that it's Fife and their struggling. Teams have lost there This is such a frustrating team, they go ahead in games then lose and vice versa. It's the hope that gets you. Carozza is the player in form at the moment, Sheffield lost there recently and we know Fife isn’t an easy place to go. We’ve won all 3 games we’ve played there this season, then we’ve managed to lose 2 of our 3 home games against them. Like you say, this team is so frustating.

The problem is panthers will only be signing a roster of bottom 6 forwards next year due to having their budget cut further... So I doubt things will be much better they'll be certain posters who will be enraged by this post and don't want to see it but that's what will happen, and who honestly wants to experience another year of Doucet being 'DOH' ? I know what you’re saying Pidge but there’s no reason why this should be the case, even with the big decline in attendances this season we’ve got higher average attendances than Belfast and Cardiff. Black has got to see the bigger picture next season though, he needs to get the off-ice team sorted and invest in some quality players, give the fans a team that challenges. If he does that then fans will return. Take less money out of the club now and he will make more going forward.

Two players who haven’t had a decent spell of games this season are Carozza and Domingue, so I think it’s unfair to comment on them as it stands.
From the imports we already know that Welsh is staying (which is good imo), then I’d like us to keep hold of Boivin, Brassard and also Norrish.
There’s still a hell of a lot of unknowns in regards to next season though.
Firstly, is Doucet remaining as DoH? What is happening with the structure of the club? Are we still looking for a coach?
What is the game day roster size going to be? (That dictates how many Brits you need).

A much needed win after two very poor results. It was another tough watch though I’m afraid.
The 1st period was absolutely dreadful, in the 2nd the fans woke up after a poor call from Perring and that seemed to spark the team. Nice to see Carozza grab two more goals, he’s starting to show what he’s capable of.
It would be nice to see us absolutely hammer a team at least once this season, we’ve had plenty go the other way. Not many highlights from this season unfortunately.

A bit of tangent here but I wish that we’d never come away from the CH style jerseys, they’re so much better in quality and looks. I know I’m dreaming here but it would be great if we could find a company who could produce jerseys similar to the Adidas NHL ones now. Produce just two designs and keep them for two seasons, everyone would want one.
I agree with Iginla as well, there’s that many different coloured jerseys now that there’s no identity to the fanbase. But making as much money as possible trumps anything that fans care about.

2-0 up in the 1st minute and we end up losing 7-4, what an absolute joke this season has been.

You’d think after the 3rd powerplay goal against you might change your penalty kill units up or set up a bit differently, oh no, we’ll just concede another one on the penalty kill instead.

3-2 up, goal from Ollie. I’ve got to say there’s some very suspect officiating so far tonight.

Brilliant start from us, great finish from Carozza for the first, he had two identical chances against the Blaze that he fluffed, he wasn’t missing that one, lovely finish.

Manchester have lost 6 in a row, their last win was against us in Altrincham. We also need a result after the poor display in Coventry. I’ll not hold my breath though. Will Kerlin actually start a game tonight ? You would think this could be one if ever he’s going to play, especially looking at what’s coming up later in March. Personally I’d rather play Carr tonight and Kerlin tomorrow at home. Storm do well at home and they’ll be up for it, they’ll get plenty of shots on net, plus Kerlin didn’t have the greatest of performances when he played there earlier in the season in the cup.

Sog end of 2nd period 35-29 in Panthers favour, which sees us 4-0 down…
