Looks like the panthers management too on some fan advice, eg players coming out when there name was called rather than all rushing out together.
maybe they might be open to idea's afterall lol

They do listen... and sometimes act on it.
Like the dropping of the " - for this!" after the initial "And now it's time..." before the game - we're well rid of that.
Not particularly keen on Chelsea Dagger myself, but I don't think we should ditch it just yet... seems to work. The one that really bugs me is that stupid electronic tune that everyone goes "Wooh!" to. Call that music? - a five-year-old could do better...

We ought to then congratulate the club on doing this.To show we are appreciative.Although we are not ALL from the crowd, we are a good knowledgable lot on here who do have pride in the team and are interested in having a good make up. The changes were needed and of the obvious to be done.

Aye, the changes were for the better. Hopefully they'll sort out the penalty clock for next week though. If they don't nip little problems like that in the bud next thing you'll know it'll be as down at the heel as the House of Rust.

Tell you what I did notice, how did Knight/Corey get out of the sinbin after 2 mins for fighting? Cos they weren't penalised for it... ...though how, quite frankly, is a mystery.

I was sure Knight at least was called for fighting...hmmm Nope mate. Definately both called 2 for roughing. One thing that did puzzle me is, has the 'Dropping the Gloves' penalty been abolished, because surely that they should of been called for that if it wasn't a fighting major?

it use to be as soon as the gloves were dropped you got a fighting major
common sense from carson on that one though as it certainly wasnt a fight

Tell you what I did notice, how did Knight/Corey get out of the sinbin after 2 mins for fighting? It's cos after the little mating dance they did by the boards, Corey essentially pushed Knight over and Knight being the hardman he is didn't retaliate. It takes two parties to have a fight, thus roughing was called.

I missed the first couple of minutes of the game, had a few problems with buses, trains as I travel from London now to watch the panthers. Going from the comments I'v read on here, then a thank you to the club on listening.

Okay then, so they weren't called for fighting, did anyone see Dominic open the door as they went past so Knight would fall through it. I thought that was great. Hehehe....
There was also another door mishap, the guy working the Stingrays door opened it too soon and a player got checked who wasn't getting off. He got check through the door into the Stingrays bench, and they moaned about it. It's simple don't open the door then if you don't want it to happen.

Somebody will correct me on this but at one point we were on PK, 5 on 4 think it was in the second, we then had bust up and one of each got put in the box, I think it was Mann for us but not certain, and then Carson signaled 4 on 4, am i right in thinking that should have 4 on 3, or is there some rule I overlooked?

its because huppe got 2+2 i believe and mann only got 2mins Correctamundo. Huppe got 2mins for Slashing and 2mins for something else (not Roughing)... Mann got 2mins for Roughing, IIRC.

Does it make any difference if the players come out when their name is called or not? Perhaps not but if someone is looking out for a particular player it helps and looks more controlled.

Am i right that when icing is called the team who gives it away cannot change their lines? If so why in the 3rd period were hull allowed to do this twice. Once Macca complained and was told they hadn't but when Thompson skated across to swap with Cloutier it was obvious. The 2nd time i don't think they bothered as Carson seems to make the rules up as he goes along.
