cheers, will use it for the other two caps v panthers games. I'll be at the game for this one, in edinburgh from saturday evening. It should be a fun weekend, and the weather forecast is reasonable for edinburgh this weekend.
hmmmm I'll either sit at the back of the rink, or sit near the front to wind up Sharp. Sharp is a rubbish fighter, and can't skate for toffee!
How have the caps done in the past week or two, as I realise this is their first home league game of the season?
my score pred: 5-2 to the panthers.
and to sharpie: Dagleish is gonna get ya! repeat x 10 , or just dagleish dagleish dagleish is on fire!

Dalgleish is fast becoming a cult hero, and he looks a very good quality player into the bargain. By signing Ross and young Stevie Lee I think Corey has done some very very good business.
Not sure Sharp will get his chance though, we should be focused on winning the game, not pantomime fighting, if we need to give someone a good hiding to get things going then i'm sure Dominic will gladly oblige but that requires Sharp to be let out of his cage, which is only likely to happen when they are trying to take a player of considerable ability (Dominic / Bergin) off the ice. Unless totally neccesary i'd ignore any beckoning by Sharp to fight and force him to skate around out there, he'll be on his backside in seconds and we'll be 5 on 4 as he stumbles to the bench.

I'll be getting the webcast IF I'm not going out. Bit up in the air at the mo!
I don't think there will be any easy games this year, but purely on this being the Caps first game and we should be hitting our stride now going for 3/4-1.

Pssst Its Da Lgleish He plays for you now you could at least try and get his name right Oh and Its not Sharp you need to worry about its our 3 (yes THREE) players with NHL experiance ;D Thats 50% of all the HNL experianced players in the league this year. Im not so naieve as to make any big predictions but Id also warn against counting any chickens and all that. Hope all those travelling have a safe trip up and a miserable one home though

Sorry, it was just a spelling mistake, I am not that good at spelling. I do prenounce it correctly when I say his name. As it was be only your nhlers 2nd competitive game of the season on Sunday, they may well be a tad rusty, well I hope so anyway! Good luck to the caps! apart from when they play the Panthers of course. This season looks like it could be very competitive and open between all 8 teams, which should make it very exciting for all involved! and as for sharp, he will probly only appear on the ice for about the last 10 minutes, to try and and wind up our players and get one of them to fight. Hopefully our players will ignore him, and he'll get a penalty, for dropping his gloves! ;D Has his skating improved at all from last season do you know "hockeyanimal"?

Its OK mate I was just teasing. Sharp looked OK in training but he knows hes a "role" player so hes not expecting 30 minutes of ice every night. Good luck to the Panthers too (just Not on Sunday)

I think, maybe, just perhaps, there's one less seat on the flight from Stockholm this evening.

Christiinsan out tommorrow apparently - knee injury
McKenzie and Lambert both got hat tricks and it appears the Caps nettie likes to get the nets of their moorings rather too often

Caps scored 8 of their 9 goals minus Doug with 5 of them coming from one line. As for the Net kicking rumours?? Well thats from a Hull fan and Hulls nets are never that secure anyway. Good luck to all those travelling up and as im tea total mines just a tea with milk and 18 sugars, But dont stir it as it gets too sweet .

Confirmation from the Caps website of the Christiansen injury... Not the way I want us to gain any advantage...

Rudkowsky did like to jiggle the nets a fair bit. It was always at strange times though, not really when advantage could be gained. It looked more like his goal was about six inches narrower than he's used to.
I think it should be a fairly close game tonight. There's no way the Panthers can be as disorganised as the Stingrays were last night and I have a feeling Edinburgh will be a different team if put under some actual pressure. I'm thinking 4-2 with an empty net, not sure to which team though.

panthers should win this game tonight can't really say that yet can we, none of us have seen caps play yet, they on paper have signed a very good team, bags of confidence from a crushing win last night... it is not a given result at all tonight

Caps only convereted 1 PP chance from 9 last night, against a Hull side that by their fans own accounts were p*ss poor.
