Hey, I'm an admin over at www.ehmtheblueline.com and we're currently in the process of doing an update for Eastside Hockey Manager(EHM), a hockey manager sim made by SI Games. Unfortunately SI Games has stopped making the game and the last version of the game was 2006/2007 season. I've previously done EIHL updates for the game however due to Phoenix & Basingstoke unfortunately dropping down to the EPL & the EIHL being hard coded into the game we are left with 2 empty slots in the EIHL that need filling. I was wondering, even if you didn't play the game, what you guys thought would be the best solution to our problem. The EIHL has to have 10 teams in so we were thinking one of the following solutions: 1) Put in a fictional team: For example Leeds Lazers, a Liverpool based team, Breahead...etc 2) Put in a team that has previously been a major UK Ice Hockey Team. For example Durham Wasps, Manchester Storm, Ayr Scottish Eagles etc... 3) Put in a team that has rumoured to be moving to EIHL, i.e. a team from the Irish or Scottish league Any opinions on the matter would be greatly appreciated. As I say you don't need to play he game to tell what you think would be most realistic. Thanks, Calv

I'd say the best solution would be to put in a classic EIHL team, like Durham Wasps and Ayr Scottish Eagles. I think a classic team would be more fun, easier to do (already know rosters) and less problematic.

I think if we add any teams in they will have empty rosters, because initially they will be there to make up the numbers rather than have any bearing on the league standings. Then for the second season onwards if the user wants they can turn them into a proper franchise(since in the first season all of the best brits will be unavailable).... Not 100% sure yet, we also face the same problem with the EPL as it's coded to have 12 teams....

A rumoured team would be good, because it's likely that it may become true in the future. Maybe Dublin?
