Looks like Patrick Kane has been a naughty boy... www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=287230No doubt there's more to it than the details given there (when is there not?) but even so... dear oh dear.

What a plonker. He's obviously not the first young man to do something incredibly stupid when under the influence, but most young men aren't in the national spotlight, or with a possibly hugely lucrative career to look after.

Meh, he'll be alright. All a bit daft, especially as he's at the pinnacle of his career. No, he hasn't won the Hart, or the Stanley Cup. He's the cover boy of NHL10!!!

The cabbie's lawyer stated "I think we should be able to work things out" which probably means Kane will give his client some cash and the incident wont end up as a criminal conviction for the player.
Much ado about nothing.

The major charges have been dropped. Kane is subject only to some misdermeanors which he can settle in court with only his wrist being slapped as a result. Worst case scenario is he gets a fine.
