I'm planning to get away tickets for Manchester when we play them at Sheffield, but does anyone know where the away fans sit? Its always good to sit with the right fans Also, what time is the junior match beforehand and do you need tickets for that? One final question, which are the away blocks for Covenrty?

It's unreserved seating for the games at IceSheffield. It's not a junior match beforehand, it's the Scimitars, top of the EPL they are, tickets are £7 but there may be a ticket deal like there was last time. Scimitars v Telford f/o 5.15pm Phoenix v Panthers f/o 8.15pm If you've already got your Phoenix ticket you just need to present it at the entrance to get the discount. But I'm not sure if or what the deal might be yet. Away blocks in Cov 7, 8 and 9, well they are when we visit

although it is unreserved seating at ice sheffield i believe that there will be an away fan section (i think it's going to be on the far/penalty box side of the ice) but just ask whoever takes your ticket. also our last game there we had warm up on the 2nd pad - wouldn't be at all surprised if that was the case this weekend as well (in case you want to watch warm up).

My ticket is in block 8 I think, the opposite side to the side where you walk in i think, oppo players benches too

When I rang to book for Ice Sheffield, I was told it was numbered seating, cos he said our seats were just on the centre line

What the woman actually said to me was:
"I'll have to book you in Block 1 but you will be able to move, if there is any free seats."
When she gave me the tickets it said unreserved seating on them. And I bought them at the arena box office a week last Saturday (7th Oct) for the Panthers match. So I assumed it was all unrserved seating, doesn't have any block numbers or seats or owt on them.

it is definately unreserved. we had similar issues with the giants game in that the box office apparently had to put seat numbers on the tickets. this should have been changed or you should at least have been advised when you booked that the seating is unreserved. bearing in mind that the hallam aren't used to selling tickets for the phoenix or for ice sheffield you can sort of understand the odd bit of confusion.
the only seats where you will be asked specifically not to sit are a couple of rows which are for the use of the phoenix volunteers selling raffle tickets, merchandise, taking tickets etc. however these seats will be in the phoenix section anyway.
