Thats what im concerned about, a jollie run in Europe should be well down the list on priorities. , and missing a key weekend of elite league action may have a detromental effect, as I like most want the holy grail as in the league come march.

Agree Pidge, I couldn't give a rat's ass about the Continental Cup - we want the league! OR at least the Playoffs! Goin to Conti Cup just means we are squishin in fixtures later in season and risking injuries now - for what? PR I guess, that's all I can think of.

for what? PR I guess, that's all I can think of. It may have been a very useful factor in attracting players to the club, and also in negotiating salaries as some players may want to get themselves some ice time in front of some European scouts. Of course, the flip side to that coin is they may not wait 'till the end of the season and may end up leaving us to go and play in Switzerland
