I was there, at the game. Stood in the Trent End, as usual. It was a cold Wednesday evening when Queens Park rangers came to Nottingham for the 5th round of the League Cup. Forest were starting to play like a team that could lift some silver and were certainly on form that night. A 5-2 win with Lee Chapman scoring 4 of them. But the headlines were made as the game ended. Some fans went on to the pitch to celebrate and Mr. Clough got a little bit annoyed and clipped a couple of them round the earhole. These two, realising they were in the wrong, went to see Mr. Clough to apologise........ .....watch the video

I wasn't at that particular game, but i remember watching it on TV. I had the honour of meeting Cloughie a fair few times, & remember each time. The last time was a month or two before he sadly passed away. Still miss the 'owd bugger.

The Panthers don't do league titles. Not even Carlsberg can manage that!

Me and the old man were there. Row F, seats 47 and 48 lower tier Exec Stand.
Lee Chapman airplaning all over the pitch and Cloughie delivering a couple of thick ears.
Football's not what it used to be.

I was behind that goal a little to the right that magical day, another game i ll never forget ;D That goal we scored by Parker who ran the length of the pitch is still one of my favourite goals of all time especially when everton nearly scored from the corner 20 secs earlier !

Those were good days, pidge. 6 Wembley visits in 4 seasons. I went to every one. In 1990-91 season, I only missed about 10 games home and away, including trips to all the FA Cup games and their replays.
