Only rumour so that's why it's posted here. Marc Levers is apparently rumoured to be fed up with the strict training regime at Panthers and is looking to move to Steelers in January. Apparently Steelers only train twice a week.

it is good to read that we have a strict training regime? Not if we don't win anything it isn't!

it is good to read that we have a strict training regime? Not if it's lowering morale...

No offence to Surf but I find this pretty hard to believe.
If it were true though, Levers is full time isn't he? If he can't hack more than 2 training sessions a week then they're welcome to him.

I think it sounds like cobblers too but, at the same time, I'd be hacked-off if I felt I was training excessively only to see it all come to nothing at the weekend.

WHAT utter bull , Levers is one of the hardest working players in a panthers shirt , he puts 100% effort in every shift and I would expect no differance in training , always willing to show what he is made of .

I'd agree with you #9 if it were Myers being discussed, combining his real job with training. But training is just like going to work for Levers isn't it? Can't believe (and don't believe) that'd be an issue. Out of interest, how often do ours train? And do Shuff really only train twice a week? Lazy gits

steelers will train exactly the same amount as us
its not like training for one hour a day is amazingly strict with probably another hour in the gym

I'd love to be able to ditch my current job and go play hockey and work out at the gym most of the week AND get paid for it, unfortunately not all of us are blessed with involving work with a hobby we enjoy
