Beat Wycombe 2-0 in the FA Cup.. Really hope they can get a premier league team away in the next round! Well done to them..

I was at their game at FC United the other week and it really hit home that this team has some real potential. Good goalie (on loan from Forest), a couple of good wingers and some prolific strikers. Man Utd or Derby away please.

I don't think Kettering away was what they wanted!! Can't see Notts winning at Rockingham Road.
Seriously though, congratulations to the Badgers on a sensational result.

As a side you mean? I have no idea about them as a club. They play in someone elses ground and their fans have no idea what a foul is. Gigg Lane is quite smart though.

The crowd was pretty decent for non-league. 1,100 i think. Not bad for mid-week.
They were a bit crap as a team. No composure in the final third and a static defence.
It's clear that they're a Man Utd spin-off, with banners and flags all round the edge of the pitch with 'children of the revolution' all over them. Talk about melodrama.

You can never rely on Notts!

Don't know how you have the nerve Adam.
You were a Stags fan last season and you never mention their names now !! ;D
Read my previous post on this thread. Saw it coming. That said suffice to say Notts were garbage and Kettering fully deserved their victory.

You can never rely on Notts! Yes you can. The result was totally predictable! Disappointing for Eastwood whose chances of progression declined last night!

They did that for the Wrexham game in the earlier rounds (free buses)
For those who are intrested, Eastwood can go top tonight with a win over Guiseley. They would be top on goal difference but with 2 games in hand. I dare say its every bit as important as the cup game because Guiseley are 2nd and will go top themselves if they beat Eastwood so its a 6 pointer.
If Mansfield drop a place before the end of the season and Eastwood maintain form and go up, it will be stags V Badgers next season hahaha

Eastwood didn't play last night chap. Match postponed. Eastwood are going to end up with a real fixture congestion in the new year. Still, I suppose it is worth it to get a cup run going!

I am glad to see Eastwood,my local team, now well on top of the league.Going well for promotion. They had a slight wobble but have had an awesome season. The major cup run was incredible, but their league form in what has been the toughest division for years has been very good. They are top, with 2 games in hand and only the top team gets auto promotion. It was a tall order taking a team who finish mid table most seasons to champions but its going well for them. Bear in mind, as well as the usual good teams in the division (Guiseley, Kendal etc) Boston United and Leigh RMI (now Leigh Genesis) have come down whilst Bradford PA and FC united of Manchester have strengthened so its the best division for years and Eastwood have matched, and surpassed that!
