Sounds like a bit of a bruiser. Hopefully won't have taken too much out of us for tomorrow.

Glad of two points, a lot of penalties given away though. Interested to hear what happened with Jade too from those that saw it first hand.

With Bergin & Richo not getting many points I wonder if they took abit of a back seat and are saving themselves for tomorrow.
Also, as said on the game thread I hope all our players refused to shake Kozaks hand at the end.
Hope Parley was just being rested as a precaution.

Glad we got the win. Bit worried about the pattern we appear to be going back to i.e. dominate and score, mess it up and leak goals, then have to put even more effort than originally needed to win the game. Looks like tomorrow will be a fun game. Belfast 4 Sheffield 2. Watching it at www.ustream.tv/channel/285308 - Belfast's 4th was a cracker! Very nicely worked. Don't think the Squealers new recruit has appeared yet though. Loving the commentators too.

I just spoke to someone who was at the game and she said not to worry about Jade as it wasn't as bad as was made out here. There won't be any ban for it.

Sort of impressed that Kozak got on with his game and scoring would have upset us much more than fighting. It shows that the decision to keep Kozak was the right one for Hull, and Riddle for Kalmikov will definatly be better. Things look like they could get a lot better at Hull.
I think we just get complacent. Luckily we always seem to finish the game off, something we've not always done in previous seasons. I really dont see us getting as many minor penalty calls tomorrow. A win's a win though, do we now go top?

Clarkie was rested due to a repeat of mild concussion suffered last weekend against the Caps, according to my sources. David wanted to play this weekend, but the medical staff advised him that it might exacerbate (look it up the problem. Rather rest him for a couple, than lose him for 5 or 6 (or more)!

Looks like tomorrow will be a fun game. Me 'owd mucker only worry if the opposition have scored more than us at the end of the game. Use the old Cloughie philosphy ..dont worry how many the opposition score, just score one more than them! HL

Kozak played a smart game tonight in my opinion. Refused to bite when each one of our guys was offering, wound the fans up all night, and showed that he can play a bit and isn't just a knuckle-dragger. I'm not condoning what he did to Levers. But the League, and Hull, need players who raise the emotions and tempo of games. Kozak did his job well tonight.

Yes, Belfast are a good team but from all the tripe fed to us over the summer, we should supposedly be pushing them all the way. You guys are gonna have some fun tomorrow.
