Yep another four have been announced! At least there is plenty of notice, best make a note of them before I forget...
Nottingham v Coventry from Dec 6th moves to Tues Feb 17th Nottingham v Coventry from Jan 24th moves to Sun Jan 25th Coventry v Nottingham from Jan 25th to Sat Jan 24th Nottingham v Basingstoke from Feb 17th to Wed March 18th
(taken from official panthers site)
I know the first one is due to Carl Froch boxing that night, so hopefully many Panthers fans will still be in attendence that Saturday! Disappointed though that two of the home League Coventry games won't now be played on Saturday's!

Somebody on 'Dragons Den' needs to invent a 'self changing fixtures card'.

Somebody on 'Dragons Den' needs to invent a 'self changing fixtures card'. I'm sure I saw a recycling wheel thing made of card where you can spin the thing around to the item you're disposing of and it will tell you where to put it. All you need is a couple of pieces of card (the top one with little windows in) and the months, days and teams on - then you've got a random fixture generator. Use it every Saturday and you'll always be in for a suprise. On a more serious note. How many Saturday home games is that now for the season? There were quite a lot of happy people when the fixtures were first announced. How many are still happy?

I had the Bison game down as Feb 18th in my diary - was I wrong anyway?

To be fair, it's not really 4 MORE. 1 which we knew about ages ago due to & one of the others is seemingly down to Coventry Blaze

Unfortunately, it doesn't end there guys! Just received notification that the Mighty Boosh have added an extra date to their tour - Saturday 10 January 2009 - when we were scheduled to play the Belfast Giants! WHAT A CROCK!! [/b]

Glad i didn't renew my season ticket now. I would have missed loads of matches.

What on earth is the attraction of playing hockey matches on Tuesday nights this season? That must be four games now - four games I'll cross of my list. And there was me thinking games re-arranged to mid-week would be a bonus as I'd be able to get to them. Looks like I'll be missing both the Coventry games. Ah - I see one Tuesday night has been changed to a Wednesday when the Bison are in town so that's one game I can get to.

The two Blaze games would easily of attracted 5,000+ on a saturday night, now 3,500 for the tues and 4,000 sun if they're lucky

true true mate however still not gonna bring in ££££££££££ like a full arena with floor seats is it, plus food, drink etc
whilst we all knew it would happen at some point it is a bit of a p*** take that on the website the "good news" is they don't envisage any more fitxture changes a bit of an insult to fans intelligence me thinks they can just say look here is a fixture change and this is why.

Unfortunately the Arena teams are at the Mercy of the "BIG" concert or "EVENT" that will draw the crowds in.
I know of a few GIants fans that have booked everything for this match, Every team at some stage has to arrange fixtures (inluding the Giants). Its a pity that some people lose out over it.
Happened to me once, still got a great weekend out of it though.

Oh bum... another Sunday game on the same day as a Lions game. The new 4pm face-offs make it a bit easier, but it's still a nightmare for those of us working the Lions game.
Oh well... that's life in an arena.

I had come around to the fact that in a 'glorious' arena that we have.Games would inevitably be changed date wise. We can't expect nothing but a fixture card pre season of some sorts which will see changes but hell, if we had 12 noon face-offs .Some chuffing oik would ruin the party by booking all night non-stop dancing or something. It's the number of times it happens and so soon in the season. What I want to know is when is there a limit when a band/group is told 'no' sorry we have moved 20 hockey dates thus far and have an agreement to move no more.

Sadly the only way this is ever going to stop is if Mr Black builds his own hockey arena for us to play in, and that is never going to happen
