I noticed there is a thread about the fixture change on Dec 6th, but I thought this bit warranted its own thread.
The same night, there was to have been a Panthers Past v Panthers Future side in aid of MacMillan Cancer.
Legends such as Terry Kurtenbach and most of the team that beat Ayr Bruins in the 1988 Play Off final at Wembley were to have been involved.
Two points here.
One - Absolutely fantastic for Panthers to be doing something like this for charity
Two - The prospect of seeing TK, Hunty, Fraser, Bremner and all the other players of yesteryear would be great.
Lets hope a new date is announced soon.

Would also love to see Kelland and Adey play in that. Kurtenbach and Kelland at the back, happy times!

Is it just me or does Toneys remind anyone else of "Kell"?...

There was a full page article in the Eye tonight on this game. Looks like the Froch fight will scupper this game as well as the one against Coventry. I hope the flights for TK were fully flexible tickets.

Is it just me or does Toneys remind anyone else of "Kell"?... Nah.. The fans don't do that chant that they used to do when Kell was on the puck

So looking forward to this. Terry Kurtenbach a got to be mt all time favorite player. Think i might just have to get my Kurtenbach shirt out for this game ;D A very good cause too, panthers fans usually dig deep for charity events lets hope we raise a good amount this time too.

It was 1989, but I'll let you off. Such years have been few & far between, how could you possibly forget? Could I request Keyes & Crapper to make a 1 off appearance?
