If it did end this morning, would Panthers have won the EIHL as they were at the top. I guess so, and a waste of a season ticket. Don't worry though, I'm sure you'd all have got £2 off your next season one.

It's always nice to wake up and not be dead. Absolutely, and the same thought sometimes strikes me on the way to bed too, you know when I'm just having one of those days where by the end of it I'm thinking... well I'm I'm not dead, hmmm... All this philosophy reminds me of a T-shirt I saw recently that made me smile... "I'm up and dressed... what more do you want?", might have to get that one for my kids Anyway, onto the experiment. Well I'm not sure how I missed it but I only really found out about the details yesterday on another forum I visit. I'm really interested in the study of these sub-atomic particles that they are hoping to create and was a little disappointed to discover that nothing interesting is due to happen til next month anyway As for studying Physics. Well my A-levels were rather complicated (due to me giving birth to my daughter a few months before the last exams), so I ended up re-assessing what I wanted to study and decided to go back to college and have a bash at Physics. Well unfortunately it wasn't the best of years either and I somehow scraped through with an E grade pass. It was enough to capture my interest though and I ended up going the Open University route. Seven years part time study and the course modules I chose (Physics, Maths and Astronomy) earned me a BSc in Physical Science ;D I could have done the degree in 6 years rather than 7 but for that damned Quantum Mechanics module - I failed to pass (40%) the exam twice! Like Chickun, I loved the quantum and particle theory but when it came to writing down probability equations I was just stumped (it really was all greek to me...) I too hope that more young people will be inspired to consider Physics through this great publicity and potentially world changing experiment

I wish i was intelligent enough to even understand what they're doing at a reasonable level, let alone build the damn thing.
