An 8:15pm start? On a Sunday? - someone is extracting the urine there.... At least they've sorted out the stupid situation where you couldn't book tickets over the phone:-

Might have something to do with Steelers playing same night at home in the HOS (6pm) Shaggy As it's a Phoenix/Panthers game the Steelers should have nothing to do with it. I hope the reason is that there's actually something else (eg junior game or ice skating) already booking at IS for the afternoon/early evening.

Yup, both games follow the Mighty Sheffield Scimitars games, (who I'm sure you agree deserve 1st choice of times rather than the Phoenix) so if you want a chance to see Rocket Ron Shudra then turn up early and buy a ticket for their game ;D.

to be honest the rinks involved have seriously done us a favour so they should quite rightfully sort their own teams out first. don't think i'll be doing the scimitars game as realisiticlly sheffield is a good 2 and half hour drive for us so it's a long enough day as it is. it won't be for much longer though

And FWIW we are not at home that night (Basigstoke) but the Scims are playing before you guys.

That's fair enough then.... the Scimitars have priority, and rightfully so. Hmmm.... might try to get up early and catch the Scims game as well, then.... hosting Telford, 5:15pm start..... that's do-able.

Just a thought.
I hope that there will be enough tickets to go around.
I would hate to think that the Nottingham and Manchester fans will lose out because Scims, and Steeler fans who do not go to their away game , are going to buy up all the Tickets before the fans or the Teams playing have a chance to purchase their requirement.
If the Hallam Arena are doing the tickets I hope they have some plans in place for Priority Bookings.!!
How many seats does IS hold!

Ice sheffield holds somewhere between 2,500 - 3,000 It has been often said that if IS held 3000-3500 then the Steelers would play there. Well that was one ex-owners thoughts. But thankfully for us, IS holds 1500, and is netted all the way round, but I still duck when the puck comes towards me, lol.

phoenix ST holders have tickets reserved for a few days before they go on general sale. after that it's first come first served. ticket arrangements are still being finalised but tickets for first 3 phoenix "home" games go on general sale on saturday i believe (unless it changes again) - nothing on the panthers games yet
