Still noone wanting to be the keeper then? I will practice it and be willing to do the duty on a rotational system if needed, or can we just leave it to the CPU? Anyone know if it will be intentionally be made poor to encourage true 6 on 6? i very much doubt it, i presume it will be up to the usual decent CPU standard, unless someone is really experienced and is a specialised NM then i would leave that to be the CPU, all we need per team is 2x D-men and 3x Forwards

Still 11th/12th for 360 just PS3 has been knocked back to 26th. That will be nasty whilst we are playing a nice bit of MMO. Hopefully xbox isn't delayed too. I'm looking to centre a line in the team if i join rather than playing with just my friends however i'm willing to play D or even go in the twine

ok just pick randomers to play together then. and we'll rotate positions to suit what different people want to have a go at until we find somehting that works. as said before i odnt mind playing RW/LW/C and if needed ill drop back to defence although i like to get forward.

yes i presume so, unless you have to split them up in that case we'll be "the nottingham panthers" 1, 2 + 3 ;D i'll probably be trying to complete the assist machine one as i prefer to let other people score and get the assists, unless i am clean through of course ;D my copy is pre-ordered and will hopefully arrive friday or saturday fingers crossed. can't wait to sort my character out and start working my way up through the AHL and onto the NHL

i wanted my team to be called the Nottingham Nighthawks , but its a group decision and panthers is more appropriate to be fair.

anyone managed to find out if other forums are doing anything similar? I've asked around to check if we can set up a MMO league just for uk hockey forums, but i dont think it can be done. I think custom leagues can only be created for 1 v 1 online play. I'll ask around others forums to see if they're doing any of this MMO team stuff. We could always just try and do an informal league between the uk fan forums. My game has been despatched from gameplay this afternoon first class. In theory should be here tomorrow. Realistically I prob won't get it til next week as first class seems to mean nothing where i live <end mini rant>

Has anyone preordered from Play.com before? Is it lkely to arrive on Friday or do they post it on Friday? Tempted to cancel the order altogether and go to the shops during my lunch break.
My account info only says preordered not posted and tbh its not gonna get here in a day I think.

last time i ordered from play.com it came the next day, last game i ordered came day after, so hopefully the preorder will be quick, i've a feeling we may get it tomorrow if preordered, cos it will come straight to us rather then manufacturer>>>play.com>>>us. i may have to put my social life on hold when it comes.

Play.com has always delivered games on release date for me. But i'd say if you can make you way into town it may be better just incase the game doesn't come on time. Thankfully I have time off to run into town and get it friday morning. Plus, perfect time to trade in some old games

If your with gameplay they sent them yesterday so if you chose 1st class it should be here this morning, if you ordered 2nd class you will get it tomorrow (release day). Thats for 360, no idea about ps3 other than they have got it in stock ready, so I would assume it will be the same

if i were you rs17, i'd trust the internet and the postman, they won't let you down! going to the shops on release day is very risky, i have also found that game order very little copies of the NHL games in, and the internet companies like play.com etc. are more likely to get copies of the game first. If you did wanna go into town looking, try zavvi, they are usually very good
