So rumour is up on Steeltalk. No names mentioned but a lot of clues.
Could be a Scot?
No NHL, but has played AHL.
Comes from a 'royal' town.
Big guy, who can look after himself.
I certainly have an idea from those clues, but could be any number of players!

Someones guess on Steeltalk is Basiuk, which was my guess from the clues. Not a clue whether it is him or not, but if it is then Im pretty happy! Good player, wore the C at Manc and always seemed to do a good job. Good points output as well.

Basiuk, whilst being more offensive than Manzano, is not a full out and out offensive D man like Sarich. From what Iv seen of him, he tends to look after his own end first before switching to being more offensive. Only from what Iv seen of him though, so maybe Manc fans could provide more detail
Manchester used him on the PP but I think thats mainly due to him having a very good shot from point, as well as being a good passer of the puck.

He is stay at home always has been , he has anchored the power play for manchester when mangos left last season and has a bullet shot, but his 1st season he was the stay at home guy and did very well.

Well in the states there's Manchester (Monarchs - AHL) and Reading (Royals - ECHL), which could be considered as "Royal" towns - so just have a check of their rosters
