I have a superb Orange faced Breitling "Emergency", approx 3years old, it has all the usual features (dual time, Alarms, stopwatch, etc....) Coated anti-scratch face, rotating bezel, Titanium Strap. All usual Breitling Markings and states on back "Transmitter made in France". No Box or Paperwork. Pictures are available via email (dont know how to put them on here)
Offers in region of £150..
Not 100% Certain of authenticity although i have had it in the Breitling Shop when it went "pete tong" and they fixed it without questioning it so....

Not 100% Certain of authenticity You mean you're only 99% certain it's a fake? Where did you get it from? What happened to the box and paper work? If it's genuine it'll have a serial number on it. Breitling could probably authenticate it using that number, might be worth asking them. That said if it looks convincing, is well built, and works then I guess the kind of price you're selling it for isn't unreasonable. If I was selling it and I thought there was a chance it was genuine, I'd try and get confirmation from Breitling - you might be able to sell it for a lot more.

I think it is safe to assume that it is indeed a replica.
However there is a market out there for good quality, competitively priced replica watches of niche brands with items selling at a fraction of real piece costs.
I think mapleleafs has been open enough as he isn't trying to con anyone into believing it is the real deal and that is reflected in his asking price.
Just for anyone who questions the quality of these replica watches i paid £25 for a fake Gucci (knowing full well it was fake) anf it lasted me 5 years.
You pays your money and you takes your chances.

Did some running round and ringing round over saturday and it is a replica although 2 seperate Breitling dealers couldnt tell they had to point me to a breitling "only" dealer who then had to unscrew bits from it, from that its certainly a top end replica at that even the dealer was impressed.
His words were " You'd never be able to tell untill you needed to use the Transmitter, it hasnt got one" (made me laugh) so thats the only diffrence it wont transmit an emergency signal should you need it.
Thanks Alf nice to see positive coments and not just people having digs.
Still here if anybody intrested.

It's not so much the fact that it's a fake..it's the fact as you so put it, it's already gone 'Pete Tong' once. A fake, previously broken watch?. Think you need to 'adjust' your sales patter mate;)

Cheers doughnut, just to kind of clarify "pete tong" all it was when i first got it i didnt know how to "sync" the digital time with the hands (analogue) and upon pressing all the buttons frantically to work it out it went all "weird" looking as in the numbers were missing bits if you can imagine a digital clock its made of lines in diffrent directions well for instance the number 0 had 2 lines missing so it looked like a 1 thats all is meant by it went wrong. and that was years ago now and not had a problem since. Cheers
