I know what you mean. Drogba should be a slight upgrade on Ibrahimovic if anything but they both need to want it. May be a case of better the devil you know. Still if Jose does get the job he wont be forced to sign Shevchenko.......... No, lol as Sheva is hopefully off to Milan and can put his Chelski Hell behind him. just shows what happens when an owner thinks they know a lot about picking a team. Roman's mate sheva but just didnt cut it at chelski. Perhaps Roman should check out the farce at Hearts these days.

Mourinho is expected to be officially named boss of the Nerazurri tomorrow, although the squad have already been told by the club a week or so previously.

Sheva's stats in the EPL this season FWIW:
8 starts, 9 subs, 6 points (5 goals+1 assist), 38 shots, 34.2% on target, 13.2% goal percentage.

Looks like Mark 'Sparky' Hughes may be out the running too as he's favourite to take over from Sven at Man C*ty

Jose is now "officially" boss of Inter. Now all you have to endure is endless tabloid speculation as to which Chelsea players are moving in with him. Drogba Lampard Carvalho and Essien without even trying to think about it.

I'd like Lampard there as I've said previously, I think he'd do well in Italian football, there others...? Dunno, but don't want Drogba.

Chelsea might not want to do business but that won't stop the red tops filling their back pages. Knowing the way Jose stood by him through thick and thin I wouldn't be surprised at Carvalho. I also think he'd be a good fit for the Italian style of play.

Good enough to win Serie A (just) but to win the Champions League?

If that's the case then Milan are in for a windfall.
Only last week, I read that should Chelsea want Carlo then they could have him for £45m.
I'm certain the compensation won't be that much though.

Apparently Carlo is staying put and may have been using Chelsea as a bargaining chip to boost his contract. Mancini, Scolari and Rijkaard would seem the faves now.
Jose in Serie A is a little disappointing. Half full stadia, often poor quality facilities, all sorts of crowd problems........... Serie A is very much the #3 league now so if I was a Chelsea player I'd hope a Spanish club bids for me.

Scolari it is then. Good appointment. Especially if he can bring in Kaka.

Now this issue has been resolved, I think the new topic should involve Ronaldo & Real Madrid...
Yawn.
