Jason Deitsch - www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=85034maybe a possibility? just found him on ECHL stats and looked him up. played with Ndur and Toneys at kalamzoo in 05/06, and also with Jade Galbraith at Munich last year? if we got someone with this sort of background would people be happy with him being our first line centre or would people want more of an AHL player with more games to his name in the AHL?

if the new forward is from echl there is only one that will do for me and thats david desharnais he has just ruled that league this season however he's only 21/22 so it might be a risk and worth going for someone with more experience.
Saying that anyone that scores nearly 2pts per game in regular season and over 1pt per game in playoffs and takes his team to the final has got to be worth a shot.

It is unlikely however nothing is a certainty in this world is it? He might not get guarantees from the ahl teams that he will play regularly then he'll end up being pushed from pillar to post through the pyramid system over there. He may want guaranteed games, we may offer the best financial package plus he may want the uni deal. We just won't know until that elusive centre is signed.

I wouldnt be overwhelmed if he was signed as our 1st line centre. I wouldnt be gutted but I would hope for better.
