Forest should have retired the #3 shirt for Pearce. And Dessie's too. IMO its to much of a North American thing to do. But did you know Arsenal are the only team in all the football leagues to retire a number. Which was Adam's #6.

Forest beat Kilmarnock 1-3 last night with a Grant Holt hattrick.
All penalties.....

Missing 6 or 7 players. I'm not worried.

Villa have signed Marlon Harewood for £4.5m, looks like Forest will be getting a nice little windfall. Does anybody remember what the percentage was? 25% I think?! Yeah it was because when harewood was meant to be going for 4 million forest were meant to recieve 1 mill but because the transfer fee went up forest recieved more

Forest release another ghastly third strip. Oh dear.
That turquoise and white on the shoulders is hideous.

Thought the third strip didn't look too bad.....
Got to admit, Forest played some really good football last Saturday at Bramall Lane. There was non of this hoof the ball up tactic like we saw a lot of last season, nearly everything was played around on the floor, and it looked simply brilliant. Especially against a side that had just got relegated from the Premiership and that had kept most of it's players, but we looked really quite dangerous going forward. Not only that, but Dobie is looking quite sharp once again. I just hope he can keep himself free from injury. Lennon's playmaking in midfield was excellent, though after a while, he looked knackered and lost his legs, but still powerful. Didn't quite look matchfit
Defence was looking a bit shaky but nothing major, and against a League One side, they should be good enough. Thought Lockwood did well going forward up the wing, but if he loses the ball, he didn't appear to have much pace to keep up with the player running at him. Maybe he hasn't trying as hard as he could have seeing as though it was only a friendly, but the side that was put out at the start of the game, will most likely start against Bournemouth on Saturday

Looks quite good in person. Unfortunately the same can't be said of the team.

Disjointed and poor. We were almost embarrssing in the first half, it perked up when we actually brought some strikers on in Agogo and Holt. Sammy Clingan was probably MOM, he hit two screamers that hit the wood work, the second that hit the bar was exquisite control, he did so well to get over the ball enough to stop it flying into the Trent End. Kris Commons was unlucky too with his late free kick just over the bar.
Dobie only started playing when it looked like Holt and Agogo were getting ready. Interesting.
The linesmanship in the game was also shocking, neither of them looked like they had a clue what the rules were.
If the rest of League One is as bad as Bournemouth we'll walk it with our full strength team, sadly, not with the bunch who played today.

I'm still shocked that Dobie is even considered worthy of employment by Forest.

Sadly, if we ever do have a full squad to choose from, Dobie will still feature somewhere down the line. The squad should walk the league, but sadly the manager has as much tactical nous as a rubber duck in a plastic pool.

Normal service is resumed. Perhaps someone should have told Calderwood that Forest were at home against mediocre opposition.

Looks like Forest want David McGoldrick from the Saints. Another ex Notts player.

Would be a reasonable signing. Scored 1 in every 2 at Bournemouth last year.

You seen much of him at Southampton Rich?
Best went to Coventry instead. Bit of a shame, but we'll live.

450 minutes and not a single goal, even with injuries that's poor.
Is Calderwood up to the job?

Scott Dobie didnt set foot on the pitch against Swansea. Holt and Agogo played and we still couldnt score.

I think the Swansea result is a bit masked by failings against Bournmouth, Chester and the back end of pre-season. I'll take a 0-0 at Swansea, any time, a very tough place to go and a good point, if we'd thumped the cherries and Chester this would have brought backslapping all round. Now to tonk Leeds, if we don't score (and win) in that game I'll start to wonder.
