I will always remember him for his subliminal skill he showed us all on sunday afternoons playing for Juve. I miss Football Italia The funny thing is, Man U were thinking of buying him when he was a virtual unknown in Franch, the cost quoted was a measley £4m! Fergie didn't buy him cos' he didn't know what position to play him in because of Cantona Live SerieAYeah I watch Serie A on Bravo, but it was nice to watch a game in Italy on a sunday, followed by a Premiership match on Sky.

I would have done the same if said that to me, with all the tension from the WC. I would have just flipped.

If the terrorist comment is what was said, then he should be ashamed of himself. There is sledging, but that is just a step too far. The wounds of Algeria are still really fresh to those involved. ZZ was out of order for what he did but I think the reason he has not been strung up for this is because it is just so out of character that something must have happened to get a response like that. Also I think that there has been so much support for ZZ because he genuinely seems ashamed that he let himself react that way.

Zidane is famous for having a violent streak, he's been sent off more times in his career than Roy Keane.

Yep i was gonna say that Zidane regularly seemed to get involved in things when Football Italia was still on the telly

Zidane is famous for having a violent streak, he's been sent off more times in his career than Roy Keane. 12 times. More than Vinny Jones. A real Cantona type person. There a great email going around where it shows the ZZ butt from a German, French, Italian, American and Press perspective. I'm sure it'll soon be on this thread.
