Personally i'd pick Gerrard, a born leader, not that I don't think Terry isn't. Have a feeling that Mr charismatic (G. Neville) will get it.

Beckham has proved that the captaincy does have a detrimental effect on his performance so obviously we need someone with the strongest head. For me, this is Terry. We want our forward 6 to have nothing on their mind except attack.

Personally as a Liverpool fan, Terry should be captain. Gerrard Co - Captain. I have seen what both can do as leaders, personally.
Gerard is awesome, but I do prefer if his mind is entirely on his own game for England. Terry, what can you say, if it weren't for him,Chelskis 'stars' would be lazy, and take things for granted. Teryy won't let them.
Either of them could do a great job though.
Nevillle can't

gerrard all the way he's won the biggest competition in europe and that is really hard to do whereas john terry's team has all the players to win anything and everything so it is easier for chelsea to win trophies but the liverpool team has to work to win their trophies and not get loads of money from their owner so they can win the championship.

Doesn't really matter. The captain is more for off-field work rather than on-field work. Terry and Gerrard are already captain-like on the pitch. As is Neville.
