Without sounding pessimistic, there is not a chance in heaven or hell that we will get Martin O'Neill.
If i have to go back to this in two weeks and say what a prat i've sounded like, i would be the happiest man alive.

Quite true i cant see it happening either.. but i remember when O'Neill was at Leicester and the Forest job was vacant, He wanted to go to Forest but they appointed someone else instead, So you never know...

I thought that the story with that one was that the board wanted O'Neil. O'Neil wanted Robertson to be joint manager along side him. Board didn't like it. O'Neil was turned down

Nobody ever knew the real story, although there were a few rumours doing the rounds. It sounded to me that O'Neill got wind of the Celtic position opening up and got cold feet.

The story goes that MON will be the new Derby boss.
Forest offered him the job when Sir Brian left but he declined it because Forest insisted that he kept on the Forest backroom staff. These were the same staff that later ditched Forest and went with Clarke to Man City!
MON ended up at Leic instead.
