Will be a fantastic signing for whoever has got him away from Cov. Good player, a hard chioce between him and Clarke for me, Clarke scores more but Tait gives more if you get me. Both top brits at the top of their games.
We have an announcement tomorrow, you could have one by the end of the week I am told, so we will have to wait and see. And then of course it may be neither, Belfast have been after him for years.....

Class signing whoever gets him, would be very surprised if he comes here to be honest, but we'll see. If we get him then DC will not be back i think

The BBC report is mainly linking him with Belfast and Sheffield apparently. Would love to see him back in Nottingham but can't see it. It'll be a great signing where ever he does end up but seeing him playing in one of those jerseys would be awful.

Why would seeing Tait in a Steelers or Giants jersey be any different than a Blaze jersey?? Personally I can't wait to see him in a Steelers jersey. I never liked him as a player, skillful yes, hardworking yes, but I just never liked him....simple as that. Besides, who will we 'wind up' when Steelers visit, now Te$$ier has gone

They'll probably all be wrong so I'm distancing myself already! ;D GM is not the GM anymore. Craighead will be involved with the Panthers next season. And I don't mean as a player. Clarke to Germany. Krajicek may join him. Myers to Cardiff or Nott'm- dependent on offers. Meyers to return. Macca not to. Shmyr to return. Stevens, Petricko and Rees may too. Neilson to get a better offer abroad which will stop him from returning. Rasto to return. Stancock may be on the same flight with him!! Paul Moran to find a new club. No idea where. Manchester and Newcastle seem good bets. Not doing too bad so far. Not too great either!

i dont see what the big fuss about tait is, from what i remember he wasnt that goo for us anyways, he will go to sheffield and be h8d like evry othr playa, he would have had enormous wage demands to come back here anyway

is there any English in the above post or has it changed drastically since I went to school.... "One does not see why there is such commotion in regards to Ashley Tait signing for the Sheffield Steelersice hockey franchise. It is my recollection of him is that he was a poor player for the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team when he played for them. Now that he is a Steelers employee, it is my belief that he shall be hated by Panthers fans in the same manner that his teammates are. For him to have played for the Panthers would have required the Panthers to have met very high salary requirements that he would surely have demanded." Some of us were schooled during the Thatcher years, thankfully.
