Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere, but.... <shrugs>
I've had a message from one of the Edinburgh fans who organises their 50/50 draw. He asked me to pass on a big THANK-YOU to all of the travelling Panthers fans who bought 50/50 tickets and made it a nice amount.
Sounds like they wouldn't mind having us back (and I for one plan to get back there at the very next opportunity).
For anyone who couldn't make it up there...... definitely recommended, Murrayfield's a great place with great fans - and Edinburgh itself is class.

Here, here. ;D We had a great time and were made to feel most welcome. I particularly enjoyed my chat with a Capitals fan in the bar of the Hampton Hotel where we were staying, who was considerably more knowlegeable than I on the subject of our beloved sport. He also pointed out that we had been incredibly lucky with our timing of the game in Fife, in that upto the previous week there had been 2 and a half hour tailbacks on the Forth Bridge due to road works, and that he had been having to take 100 mile detours to ferry his son, who is involved in the juniors over in Fife, to training. Cant wait to go back, though I now know that basingstoke is not the coldest rink in the world as previously speculated. It is a dead heat between Fife and Murrayfield.
