Another number that has not seen much usage in Nottingham, but amongst the few custodians are a Stanley Cup winner and the only Panthers player of the modern era not to wear a helmet, the goaltending legend that was Dave Randall.
1980/81 – Dave Randall 1981/82 – Dave Randall 1985/86 – Ian Woodward, James Hunt 1986/87 – James Hunt 1987/88 – James Elliott, Matt Flint 1990/91 – Mark Goldby 1998/99 – Jason Weaver (one game) 2001/02 – Jim Paek 2002/03 – Jim Paek 2004/05 – Jason Buckman, Rhys McWilliam

I’ve got McWilliam down as no. 2 v Belfast, 26 October; @ London, 29 October; @ Cardiff, 23 December. Buckman v London, 12 December. Found another one while I was checking. James Cooke v Coventry, 22 January. Like you I have no recollection of these actually appearing on the ice, but I do know there was a number 2 shirt made up last year as a ‘spare’, because I used to see it lying around in the kitroom.

Stef,
Am I correct in saying that James Hunt is the same person as James Elliott?

Stef, Am I correct in saying that James Hunt is the same person as James Elliott? I'm not Stef (I've got more hair!) but you are correct.

Jimmy Paek was awesome. I'm sure he wore 24 though then wore 2 in his second spell.
#83
