Erm...not sure what i make of this...
We've traded Joni Pitkanen, Geoff Sanderson and a third to Edmonton for Jason Smith and Joffrey Lupol....
I really don't know if i like this one

Lupol's no mug either. To be fair he isn't an exciting player just a good solid pro. ( maybe just what Philly need )

Philly have brought in 2 decent players but i would of tried hanging on to pitkanen though i think he's a brilliant defenceman

So his play last season is what got him traded? Sounds stupid, but yes, amongst others. He had a dreadful season defensively, he ended the season -25 and his head was all over the place. His points production was excellent though. Another reason for him being traded is rumoured to be that he was a complete loner in the dressing room. Saying that, i'm surprised he was traded after we signed a countryman for him to speak to... Ah well, in Holmgren we trust.
