tsn.ca/nhl/news_story/?ID=199903&hubname=nhlExcellent news if you ask me. I was watching their game vs the Sabres last night and with the atmosphere and the passion involved i had to wonder why there was even a question of the Pens being moved. It's a good day for hockey.

Excellent news.
The NHL losing one of it's most supportive US markets would have done it no good whatsoever, particularly had the Penguins gone to somewhere like Kansas City.
I can see KC going after the Preds now though.

Really pleased to hear this has been sorted and the Penguins can stay at home. Think you're right Kim - Kansas will def be on the look out for a team.... I still look forward to Winnipeg getting a team back there!

Good news for Pittsburgh. I like the Penguins although a little part of me hopes that one day we'll see the return of the Winnipeg Jets.

Because before the arrival of Crosby, Malkin & Staal, their team was poor and the fans weren't turning up!
