It was always Kovalchuk but after seeing Atlanta it's got to be Hossa - outstanding player and to think that I was on here 2 years ago having a rage when we traded Dany Heatley.

I'd say Phaneuf when i get to see him play, he's so good.
In the East, i'd go for Ovechkin, i know it's an easy choice but his enthusiasm and ability is brilliant.

this season apart from the big man to the left and the sedin twins (just because their nucks). it has to be predictably Ovechkin. you can feel the excitment in the air when he's on the puck.

Its too hard to stick with one, so I'm going with a line.
Brodeur
Phaneuf-S.Niedermeyer
Ovechkin-Madden-Sakic

Batman - as much as I love Crosby, he still appears to be too mardy/immature to be considered a favourite just yet.

Thought you'd pick a Leaf ;D I liked Sundin even when he was a Nordique. Just a fantastic player & everything you'd want in a captain. He is by all accounts, a top knotch guy as well. If it was all time favourite, it'd be Doug Gilmour.
