From today's Daily Telegraph:
Sports Round -up Last Updated: 12:40am GMT 13/02/2007
Ice Hockey
The O2, formerly Millennium Dome, will play host to regular season National Hockey League games next October. The Los Angeles Kings will open their 2007-08 season with two games in London with the Vancouver Canucks or Anaheim Ducks the likely opponents. The teams also plan to play a friendly during their visit. The O2 is operated by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), who also own the Kings.
Panthers ought to offer to host a friendly

I've got a decent group together already, one of them an LA fan so it all works out well. Bit odd they're doing it with a west coast side, rather than an East.

As Rumpole says... Anschutz owns the LA Kings and will operate the O2 Arena.

I wouldn't actually mind going to this. Bet tickets will be really expensive. Better start saving up now then ;D

Its personal taste I know, but Kings, Ducks or Canucks? Couldn't have been three worse possibilities for me.

Just booked tickets to see the NBA game at the O2 Arena/Millennium Dome (Boston Celtics V Minnesota) on Weds 10th October (7.00pm). Ticket prices ranged from £15.00 - £85.00. I would expect the NHL game to cost around the same.

I could afford £15! Wish they'd have some Eastern conference games on though

Our supporters club? Thanks for the heads up... will look into it cheers Apparently the Supporters club can only get tickets for those who are traveling on the coach with them for the Sunday Game. It looks like the seats they are getting are the £25 ones on Level 4. block 407 Right at the top! As I suffer from "Altitude Sickness " I hope I can get to the top before I pass out!
