Afternoon all...
Im thinking of ordering a new stick from the States and just wondered if anyone on here has done so before? Going to use hockey monkey i think.
I was wondering how long it takes to arrive, any custom taxes i might have to pay etc...
Cheers!

Bennett, you will have to pay VAT for it to get in, possibly other taxes aswell. Also, hockeymonkey are VERY limited as to what they can ship (NikeBauer for example have a different range for europe and therefore they cannot ship from NA to the UK).
Try ebay.com. If you can get something you want, ask them to send it as a gift (Easy unless they are a shop) and theres no problems.

Cheers Rich, i have just phoned to ask about delivery prices and they have just said they cant deliver Easton or Nike Bauer sticks - Gutted!!
Was going to purchase a xxxx Vapor and a Synergy Elite and there's no way im paying UK prices! harsh.
Thanks for your help mate, i presume all US stores have the same policy with regard to what they can ship?

If they get caught they can lose their accounts with the manufacturers but then again some do it anyway...
Decent prices can still be found in mainland Europe.

Yeh as pantherfan said some will if you get to know a guy there.
Ebay.com mate. No tax, no import limits and tons off the RRP of pretty much everything. Not .co.uk, make sure you go on .com then make sure they ship to the UK

Just recieved 2 warrior safts from hockey monkeycost me £120 the pair but half of that was post and charges( which you will still incur if you buy off ebay from outside eu. ) it only took a couple of days for them to arrive. greayt service. They have a shop in sweden but it doesnt do on line ordering, that has to come from the U.S. I have had quite a few sticks off ebay, if you are careful what you pay even with charges it's a lot cheaper than buying over here.
