And no goalies.... fair play to whoever stepped up in goal though but at the end of the day we need 2 regular goalies.
If one cant make it give Kev or Rob the longest possible notice to get someone else in.

I really enjoyed last night, there wasn't too many people there and if there were then it would have been better I agree. But we made the best of what we could do.
To be honest Ted we did the best we could on the goalie front. Dave was away and we knew that. Tim did the hockey clinic, to be fair to him I wouldn't want to bring two kits with me all day on sunday. Tom Martin was due to play but his skate broke. Rob asked another chap who I don't know but I presume he did the adult clinic with them if he could stay on but he rejected it. Top marks to Mike for stepping in at such short notice, after Carl opted out.

Sorry about that I was set to play but my skate broke beyond repair during the clinic so obviously couldn't play but my new ones should be here in the next week or so and from then I'll be available whenever I'm needed

I think thanks is due to Tom for leaving his goalie kit. I found the goalie thing really tiring, more so than a player, but it made a nice change being kitted up as a keeper as opposed to kitting one up! Cheers lads

no need for apologies Tom!... I was just curious as to how we went from 3 possible goalies to 0 in one week As for Ice time.... ace.... arena pad has been rubbish last few weeks since they took the lines off, especially sunday. Coventry fan skating might mean its not as smooth but LINES! a Goal line!!! a Crease!!! face off circles!!

I am sorry that i haven't been down for the last couple of weeks guys. I am still recovering from a dislocated knee cap, that i thought was healed, but it turns out that i still have some deep bone bruising around the knee that hasn't cleared up yet, so i have just been taking it easy and not pushing it too hard just recently, which meant that i have had to miss the odd training session or two. I am having physio on it at the moment, and i am hoping that it wont be too long until it is fully healed. I will be back on the ice with you guys this week though for deffo, as i ain't missing out on another training session. Take it easy guys, and i will see you all at the weekend

Ted.
I was due to play but injured my knee playing football earlier during the day on Sunday from a repetitive injury I've had for the last couple of years. I'm sorry, but I'm going to look after my own welfare than come to training if only to fudge my knee up even more so! I was going to train last night even without a stick which will arrive during the week. I let Kev know as soon as I could. Unfortunately, I realise it was very late on.
All being well, should be there next week!

So long as I don't have any problems with delivery (with my luck I wouldn't rule this out!) my new skates will be here by next week so will be able to play again. Missed out because spare size 12 skates aren't the sort of thing people have lying around the house suprisingly enough...
