Hi,
Andy Turnbull (Thedurhamwasp) has asked to to try and get a Panthers fans deck hockey team together to play in Newcastle before the Vipers v Panthers game at the MRA on 9th September. The game is likely to face off around midday, and we need 10 players plus a netminder. You'll need hockey gloves & a stick, leg & elbow pads are optional. If you're interested, please reply on this thread.

Assuming that deck hockey is the same as gym hockey (which I'm virtually sure it is), we could get this amount of players (and probably more).
If he fancies turning it into a small tournament we could probably muster two teams from the Arnold Wolves.
Cheers.
Rob.

Hi mate,
thanks very much.
Basically what your guys are looking to do, is have a 60 minute running clock. No checking or contact in that way and we play normal hockey rules.
We have all the facilities, changing rooms, showers, drinks are available at the vending machines etc.
On the courts we have a smaller surface, but with boards virtually all the way round, ref/linesman hopefully, nets all round the boards and hockey goals.
Could you please get in touch to talk about the rules?
Thanks,
Andrew
