For people that dont know the Panthers kit guy, then Puck Stop is a great place to get them done. I get mine done by them, and im always happy with the way they do them. As long as your skates are how you like them, then i suppose it doesnt matter who sharpens them for you.

Well, without plugging it... Simon Hopkins (GB Uni team manager and Nottingham Uni Coach) has purchased a skate grinder which he keeps at the Nottingham Uni Sports Centre. He does them while you wait (if he's there).

Today my dad took me up to sheffield to buy the last 2 bits of kit i need to finesh off my grades (Shorts and body armour) We tryed 2 places: The shop at ice sheffield and this place called 'puck stop.' The place at ice sheffield was small not a great deal of kit. not very welcoming as you walk in. But at 'puck stop' the shelves are stacked full of kit. They stock all the kit for each kind of hockey. It is quite cheap, the staff are so helpful giving their true opinion not just trying to sell it to you kwick so they can get onto a next costumer. As you walk in you are asked straight away what you are looking for and they either direct you where to go or bring the kit to you. Anyone buying kit should pay it a visit or see thier website at www.puckstop.com. It is a new wbsite and not all the products have pictures yet but the postage is only £6.00. Check it out it's well worth the trip S.G. Puck stop is a top place to get ice hockey equipment from, got my ice skates there and soon to get the rest of the kit.
