Thought I would share this link with you all: my lost accountIt enables you to submit your details through a project organised by the British Banking Assoc and Building Societies Assoc, to see if they hold any old accounts for you that you may have lost or forgotten about. I'm sure there are a couple of small savings accounts I had quite a few years ago. Its all free so probably worth about ten minutes of your time.

was going to do this, but ive moved house a number of times since having 'lost' the account, so gave up. good site though.
i was just interested in seeing how much in interest had accumilated in the midland bank account i opened in year 9 at school in 94.
