What a stirling idea, beer to your door. ;D P.S. On a rather more funny note, an indicator of our letigious, nanny state..... A quick word count on the Vipers page reveals that the original article advertising beer to your door runs at 103 words. The dis-claimer absolving the Vipers of any responsibility should you get drunk, fall over, hurt yourself or anyone else, or indeed contract liver disease any time in the distant future runs to 126 words. The warning is actually LONGER than the advert - work that one out! (And before anyone writes a scree on the legal ins and outs of advertising beer, I've just got my 'Grumpy old man', 'What's the world coming to', 'Do they have to treat us all like idiots all the time!' head on.)

Markus, you are obviously very young. There used to be a company that sold and delivered bottled beer and wines to your door. Your salesman would take your order as he delivered, your cash would be collected and so on. This was around 35-40 years ago. Then they built more pubs on the housing estates and the rest as they say is history. Used also to be advertised on the radio & tv. Davenports if my memory serves me right
