TubeEmergency services have been called to three Tube stations after "incidents", Scotland Yard said. Police confirmed they had been called to Warren Street, Oval and Shepherd's Bush stations. There have been reports of smoke coming from two of the stations and all three have been evacuated. The whole of the Northern Line has been suspended, along with the Victoria Line and the Hammersmith and City. There are no reports of any casualties. Police also confirmed that emergency service personnel have responded to reports of an incident on a route 26 bus in Hackney Road. A spokesman for London Underground said the nature of the incidents was unknown. One hospital, near Warren St station, has started its emergency plan. Sosiane Mohellavi, 35, was travelling from Oxford Circus to Walthamstow when she was evacuated from a train at Warren Street. "I was in the carriage and we smelt smoke - it was like something was burning. "Everyone was panicked and people were screaming. We had to pull the alarm. I am still shaking." But a BBC reporter outside Warren St station said there was no sign of smoke outside.

They are saying on the news that some guy came onto the tube and left a bag, then ran off, and other passengers ran after him trying to stop him. He apparently ran past some guy saying "Why are all these people chasing me" as he ran onto the street. Obviously he had some part in to of ran off like he did from everyone. They are also saying it was some kind of nail bomb

"dummy" nail bomb. The explosions that were heard were the detonators. It sounds a bit of a copycat/hoax rather than a full scale terrorist attack. There's been injuries, but only because of a stampede created. Emergency Services responded to four sites.

Coppers should, in my opinion, be armed as a matter of course anyway Shin, sadly it's the way of the world. The law abiding have nothing to fear, and people soon get used to seeing weapons around. I often guard young families and kids live armed - they're not bothered by it. Back on topic ... boy what I would give to be left alone for five minutes with the idiots behind todays 'disturbance'.

It's sadly becoming the norm, and it will be for a very very very long time now.
Kinda' like Germany in the 1930's when the NSDAP got into power, everyone was seeing a Gestapo man on the street corner, although now you replace the sinister Gestapo man with a suspicious package.
I started work at 0700am and by 0715am, me & a colleague were driving to Bromsgrove railway station reference a suspicious package.
Turned out to be an empty Topman shoe box, but commuters were visibly cautious when they saw us pull up & walk over to this shoe box.
Times have changed & everyone is going to have to get used to it

scum of the earth...thats all can be said about the people that plan and carry out these damn attacks They perceive themselves to be fighting for Islam, and against the Western world. To call them scum in my opinion is to avoid the base question, this being why do they do what they do? I'm not defending them, not at all, but if you're going to brand them scum I suggest you go & read about the Allied fire bombing of Dresden during the war or how Soviet soldiers raped countless numbers of German women repeatedly once the Third Reich had collapsed. The Western world has blood on it's hands as well, and that's a poignant issue that shouldn't be forgotten.

And thats where the big problems are. Religion should be banned! If it wasn't few religion then 90% of all the wars that have ever taken place probably wouldn't have even started.

So you have the attitude that all Muslims are radical fundamentalists with an intense hatred of the West? Are you unable to seperate those who commit these attacks from everyday peaceful Muslims who abhore the use of violence?

Man is still capable of atrocities, even in a secular society, you only have to look at the USSR under Stalin to prove that. You seem to have the belief that any one who believes in whatever faith, has hatred of opposing religions?! I'm a Christian, but I don't hate Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists et al

the muslims who carried out the 7/7 attacks believed that they were acting on Allah's orders, but if you look in the Qur'an nowhere does it say that attacks like this are correct. it is a small minority of people taking things to th extreme and then 'brainwashing' others into believing it aswell. banning all religion probably wouldnt help this problem people choose to hate others, just because they are of a certain faith doesnt make all followers of that particular faith the same.
