does anyone know a reason why i cannot use the interenet for things like ebay or the elite league auction site ( basically anything that requires a credit card infomation)??
as when i click onto buy something it comes up with page could not be found ( this is always just before the page where you have to enter your details)
does anyone out there know why?? ( whats wrong with it?)

Might be something to do with your internet security settings?

Check this:
In Internet Explorer - 1. Tools Internet Options Advanced 2. Scroll down to the Security Settings. 3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say "Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
See if that helps.

Do you have a firewall blocking port 443? (either a hardware firewall, or something like "norton security"?

In Internet Explorer (assuming that's what you're using) ... 1. Click "Help" at the top 2. Click "About Internet Explorer" 3. Look for where it says "Cypher Strength: " You want this to be "128-bit". If it isn't 128-bit then you could do with following " Method 1" in this Microsoft support article. I wouldn't recommend having a go at Method 2 unless you know what you're doing!

Heja if you use internet explorer your problems are only just beginning. Go to download.com and download Mozilla Firefox 1.0.3. instead.

yeah we got it sorted but only by taking it too a computer repair shop
don't have a clue what the probablem was, but i think he said it might of been norton antivirus that was blocking something ( missed out on the play-off shirts becouse of this)
