For anyone not going to Coventry... Just a quick reminder that the LEAGUE CHAMPION Nottingham Lions will have their final league game this Sunday... and how appropriate, they're hosting Sheffield! We don't know yet whether the league trophy will make it up here to be presented on the night, but this is the first trophy most of the lads have ever won, so it's going to be a bit of a party... although they still have every intention of sending the ENL Scimitars home without any points. So, if you're going down to Coventry with the Panthers - please cheer them on for us. But if you're not... the Lions are in the NIC main arena on Sunday evening, face-off scheduled for 7:15pm. Tickets are £5 for adults, £4 for students with NUS card, and £3 for kids. Come on down and join the Pride Of Nottingham in the second celebration of a trophy for Nottingham ice hockey this week!

Wahay and wahoodle!
Trust me guys... every single one of you who turns up to a Lions game (especially this one) is very much appreciated. There is no intention from the Lions to compete in any way with the Panthers for fans... hell, I'm a Panthers season ticket holder myself. But every little last bit of support is appreciated. The lads have worked their nads off this season, and it has been rewarded with that sweetest of trophies... the league title. The more people who come along on Sunday to have a good time and cngratulate the Lions on their success, the better.
And from a personal POV... my first ever game, there was one Lions player who stood out that night. You might know him better as the hat-trick hero from last Saturday night. Marc Levers was once a Lion, and I still remember watching him that first game and being very impressed. You might end up the same way, with the current crop of Lions. If you're not off dwon to Coventry, go on - be a devil... find out. I bet you'll like it.

Sheffield? Who the <deleted> are they? ;D
Prowl with the Panthers... stand with the Pride.

Im there Shaggy
Fed up of going to Coventry fan land, the security is a joke, and all the 'effing and blinding from the Chavsters does wear a bit thin.
And dont you find the constant clincking of cheap jewellery annoying after a while ;D

Tempted to go.

With Lions games do you go the box office for a ticket or pay at the door? You pay at the box office (tickets go on sale a bit before the start of the match). When we're in the Olympic Rink, they sell the Lions tickets from the window round the back of the box office... not sure which one they'll use tonight. Go on.... give in to temptation...
