Here's one to jog the memory cells, celebrated on the ECHL.com website today - "On this day in ECHL history" 1992 - Wheeling's Darren Schwartz scores the fastest three goals in ECHL history against Roanoke Valley.
(17:51, 18:03 and 18:21 in the 3rd period) 30 secondswww.echl.com/index.shtmlCracking photo too... Never thought we got the best of Schwartz, he was a Bergin type player when we needed a Wallenberg type.

theres lots of rumours about exactly why she left which at this juncture will remain just that. As for the player himself cracking player scored loads and tough as old boots anyone remember fife's thug who was quiet as a mouse after schwartz had had a word...

... and Cardiffs Todd Gillingham who behaved himself why DS was on the ice I didn't think Scwartz was here the same season as Gillingham? I seem to remember Gillingham was at Cardiff afterwards in our last season at the old rink, could be wrong again
