brilliant.... another shut out for askey! speaking to a player the other day and he said the teams confidence in him is so high! it shows. and on recent performances we can see why, a much needed win and hopefully other results go our way . but lets not get carried away here, we need to keep thecage on track, lets see what we can find to be negative eh?

Yep, if other results go our way and we win games in hand we can technically go 2nd!
Apparently Neilson didnt fare too great vs Payetter but good on him for having a go and sticking up for himself

Only 4?? Only four and none conceded. Clean sheets over running the scoreboard everytime. Panthers are firing, that's for sure, Askey and Ellis seem to have made a big difference. Less of the negativity cracks though hey, at the time when people vented their spleens Panthers were playing poorly and it showed. People are allowed their opinions and sometimes they're even correct.

Stat alert.
Askey last conceded at 40.20 against Cardiff, so that's a shut-out streak of 139.40 and counting. I remember in 1986/86 Brian Cox had a shut-out streak of 107.51. I wonder if Askey now holds the record, and also if a Panthers goalie has ever recorded two consecutive shut-outs. For once, I don't know the answer.
Mick, Baz, PeteW?
