I've just seen the Panthers' coach leave the NIC for tonight's game in Belfast, at 4.10pm. (Obligatory traffic warden again present.)
Does anyone else think that this seems to be cutting it a bit fine for a game facing off at 7.30 in Belfast? I'd be a bit concerned leaving at gone 4 if it was a 7.30 face off in Sheffield, let alone Belfast. Between 4.10 and 7.15 they have to get to the airport (fraught with dangers this time of night on the Clifton/A453 stretch), unload the bus, get on the plane, get to Belfast, get off the plane, load the luggage on another bus, get to the arena, get changed and warm up. It all sounds a bit hurried to me. If all the teams do this, it's no wonder that they have "bus legs", is it? Hope we don't have the kind of first period the Giants themselves had last week. Or am I missing something?

Well, it just goes to show, you should look before you post. In that case, we're far too early etc etc.....

Dont you think the team are leaving a bit too early for the game on Friday night? They will arrive tonight and check into the hotel, probably have a good walk around Belfast and then a meal with maybe a few drinks. In the morning they will have a skate, a bit of light training and then no doubt talk tactics for the game and should have thorwn off any bus legs well in advance. I think they are preparing themselves too well for the game, or am I missing something?

Well I think it is better than arriving at Belfast during the warm up and delaying the start as they have done in the past.
Does anyone know if they are flying back Saturday to Nottingham and then traveling by coach on Sunday to Cardiff or are they going straight to Cardiff from Belfast?
