Thanks for posting that KB - a lengthy article but well worth the read.
Gives an interesting perspective on the ECHL - it's not quite as I'd imagined it.

Really Liked that article. good read.
We pay alot more than the ECHL from the sounds of it. i mean if a player over here is on 400 a week, thats 800dollars. a good 4-5 hundred more than the average player in the ECHL. Sheds alot of light on how we do get players like Mac and other canadians/americans over here.

An interesting read and an eye opener. So there isnt the dollars slushing around the ECHL that I believed there was.

Makes me wonder why we (EIHL in general) can't seem to recruit players like Saviano and Sisca, or virtually any ECHL player we want to. Provided they can cope with the driving and the concept of a washer/dryer, the money and status should be enough alone, surely? There's not many people getting very rich in the ECHL, that's for sure. Makes you wonder what kind of money CN was really on, before he was hyped out of the building and various posters put 2 and 2 together to make 45.

Very interesting read, like Bobness says we couldnt properly sign any ECHL looking at there salaries max being 500 if your lucky. Its the trend these days go to europe play something you love and get paid more for it. Bergin's view on life over here is very interesting not great reading for Bison Organisation
