Just been browsing the elite forum and it apparently a Bison fan rang up the NIC to ask if drums are allowed at the play off weekend and was told no....now havent we always been told that the play offs they are allowed, they have been there at the past weekends

Drums at th NIC? Outlawed surley! That along with having fun and enjoying yourself.
THO SHALL NOT HAVE ANY FUN NOR MAKE ANY NOISE AT THE NIC! Know your place (tongue in cheek)..... Then again not far from the truth.....

There's nearly always drums at the play off weekend.
I seem to recall the last season of the Superleague, the Belfast drummers were amazing. But then they did win.

There's never been a ban on drums at the play-off weekend to my knowledge.
It's the event promoter who stipulates whether drums are allowed or not, not the NIC - they just implement the policy.
Panthers don't allow drums whereas the EIHL always has.
Best to check with the EIHL themselves as it's quite possible some of the NIC staff are familiar with Panther's requirements rather than the EIHL's.

But last year a guy near me was asked not to use it. Perhaps because of complaint I don't know but I was happy with the call.

Yeh there has always been drums at the play off weekend, the devils had some last year, Giants had about 8, Steelers and Vipers had drums last season, i posted on the elite forum that it was probably a NIC staff member not aware of the Play off weekend rules
