Understandable and as mentioned, not a surprise.
I would personally say thank you to Jonathan. It was a horrible year, but I am grateful for his leadership in helping those players, the fans and the organisation heal, regardless of the on-ice results come the end of the year. Bonne chance mon amis! (This might be wrong, I've not studied French in 18 years!)

Understandable.
Just hope that we move quickly to announce his successor.
Hope KM steps up and can bring in someone to support him.

Of everyone, this past year seemed to weigh heaviest on him. I hope he can take some positive memories away from his time in Nottingham.

What a first season away from France for him. Credit to him for not walking away which he could have so easily. Best of luck for the future

As others have said I'm not shocked by this but am disappointed as would have liked him to stay and have another go next year.
He obviously has to do what is best for him and his family and I wish him all the best...he will never be forgotten at Panthers.
I just hope whoever takes over continues this style of fast paced hockey with high intensity,it helped me enjoy the sport again after nearly walking away last summer.

Any idea who will replace him? Whoever takes over will have another rebuild ahead of him.

Any idea who will replace him? Whoever takes over will have another rebuild ahead of him. Thought it might have been COREY NEILSON when I saw his picture in the news, but it was Glasgow. A bit more bite in the games against the Clan now.

A shame - think it was the most watchable a panthers team has been for a while. Hope whoever comes in wants his teams be attacking and dynamic with speed. Intriguing summer ahead!

The cynic in me wonder how many of the 300 new season ticket holders would have got a season ticket had they known that the coach was leaving.

Any idea who will replace him? Whoever takes over will have another rebuild ahead of him. Well Pacha is on recruitment so at least the new coach isn’t coming in blind and based on the wording from the article I’m guessing it’s going to be an unknown name who is on the way up and backed by KM and RS

A shame but inevitable. Looked a broken man at the time of Adam Johnson's death, he displayed grit and loyalty to see out the season. Hope he is successful in his future endeavours.

Sadly not unexpected but he will always have this fans undying respect for clearly having put the needs of the team and the players before his own, inevitable under the circumstances, desire to be back with his family after Adam's death.
Committed and dedicated he produced a team that always left it all out there under the most difficult of circumstances imaginable.
Thank you Jonathan. Good luck for all you do in the future

Oh if we could tempt Paul Adey back. I understand his relationship with GM was a problem previously.
