Let’s hope Logan would prefer life in Nottingham with his Mum rather than being coached by his Dad! Cade too! 😂

Feels to me like we need to get our Brits all signed up because all of them have history with Corey to some extent.

With who though and are they going to be worth splashing the cash to get them to move? Coming off a very up and down season Neilson finished top point scorer for U23 brits and Hazeldine finished top assister so you’ve got two players there who are going to be top brits in a few years and then when you add Betteridge, Tetlow and Kelsall you’ve got a really solid Brit pack

Keeping what we've got, then:
Kirk, Dowd, Cade Neilson, Perlini, O'Connor, Jones, Bowns, Whistle, Richardson - would love any of them but cant see it happening
Hook, Batch, Duggan, Clements, Long - wouldn't say no maybe something could happen with one of them?

We tried to shake things up with Luke Ferrara the other year, that went well… Think people are fixated on replicating the glory days of Clarke, Myers, Lacho and co which just isn’t possible. Lacho had a great season this year, really good to see but I imagine people wouldn’t want him back still? As Joe says, the Brit pack we have is actually one of the best in the league. Take away Dowd from Sheffield and I reckon I’d take ours over theirs?

If you are wanting to improve your Brits, you need to be thinking a couple of years down the line, players that are currently with the GB U20's or players that are away at US/Canadian Colleges. It would cost too much to tempt someone currently in the EIHL, and as was pointed out, someone like Hook could easily end up like Ferrara, a star in the NIHL but a relative failure at panthers.

Hook was probably the one we should have looked to get but Ollie is very similar (probably in cost as well). Beyond that, Whistle seems happy with his game time in Belfast and you're not getting Bowns/Dowd/Richardson. Curran didn't work in Belfast so there's a chance he fails at Panthers too. Critchlow probably isn't leaving Storm and the other quality Brits left the EIHL for greener pastures. And I have a personal dislike of Ben Lake due to excessive moaning at refs.

After how we’ve used mckenzie this year, I would be avoiding panthers like the plague if I was a ‘youngster’, I’d want to play not warm a bench.

I agree that McKenzie should have been played more but that’s on the coach and if rumours are to be believed we’ll have a new one next season, also as it stands based on age and production McKenzie is too far off for us to have him on the books because he’s probably at least 3 years of improvement away from playing 4 line in the EIHL

He puts up hardly any numbers in NIHL. He gets the opportunity to train with professional players but you shouldn’t get EIHL opportunities for free and right now he just isn’t at that level.

Let’s hope Logan would prefer life in Nottingham with his Mum rather than being coached by his Dad! Cade too! 😂 The fact that his girlfriend is our social media guru would hopefully make his decision a little more difficult should he have one to make. Hopefully there are no openings in Scotland that would tempt her there.

Lachowicz staying in Glasgow anyway with his improved play from this season. Along with with new coach there in Neilson. Dowd already signed up with Sheffield also.
